Our Body's Are Designed To Feel Amazing & It All Begins With Caring About How You Feel & Knowing That

Our body's are designed to feel amazing & it all begins with caring about how you feel & knowing that your normal state of being isn't 'normal' at all. It can be a complex & overwhelming path to untangle years of feeling depleted, exhausted & a bit BLAH. Especially as our earthly forms are so intimately intertwined with matters of the mind & heart which can take a toll on our physical self. To begin we have to acknowledge we are made up of mind, body & spirit to work towards nourishing all parts of ourselves with vital nutrients- literally & let's call it metaphysically. Then we have to understand we are in control of how we feel to be empowered enough to make the right changes for ourselves on all levels. This means, making changes to what we feed into our bodies on a physical level & what we pour into our minds on a daily basis. Controlling what you consume to line up with what you want to feel can mean that you have no idea that Beyonce had twins a few years ago or that you are not up to date on Krispy cremes donut selections(that's true of me- someone told me that yesterday & I was clueless even though I follow & love music 🙋‍♀️) but is it important & nourishing to your 3 earthly levels anyway?

A toxic lifestyle or a diet low in vital nutrients can represent only one part of a larger issue affecting your mood, stamina, & energy levels, so if you're tired of existing this way give yourself some self focused examination & assess your physical & mental consumption. You are here to live in joy & it's free will to choose suffering.

I am having a very rough week mentally and physically. I've also been overeating every day and so that is weighing on me literally and emotionally. My cravings have been terrible, and I haven't gotten myself out and walking like I need to be.

This makes me really upset and depressed. I have to get myself back on track.

This Is So Average For Most People, But For Me... It's Quite The Difference (as You Can See). I Am A

This is so average for most people, but for me... it's quite the difference (as you can see). I am a housewife, and I have a hard time motivating myself to do any kind of exercise, but today I walked. I walked and I enjoyed every moment listening to music in one ear and the frogs singing in the other.

The weather was perfect, and I felt so good about myself. Being outside in nature really cleared my head and I could breathe so easily with the fresh air. I feel so at peace, so calm and content. Fulfilled.

I am proud of myself for taking the first step. My hope is to do this at least 3 times a week, if not more. I would love to do it 5 times a week, but I know I need to start slow. My desire to get to a better weight and further from the diabetes that runs in my family is strong.

I want to be healthy, and I want to love my body.

70 F outside with a soft breeze. It's a beautiful day and all I wanted to do was sit in my front yard and exist.

So, I did. I quietly existed on the ground for about 20 minutes, just allowing myself to be. It was refreshing, comforting, and I felt that everything was going to get better.

February has been a rough month with lots of ups and downs in my mind. I know it hasn't been terrible, but my anxiety and depression have created this image of failure in my mind. I was ill over my birthday, I didn't do anything romantic for my husband over valentine's, I wasn't able to take part in the simple photography challenge I set up for myself because I just wasn't motivated.

This all gathered up inside and makes me feel as though I wasted February. Winter should be about rest - the calm, silent season before the colorful rebirth of nature. I think I'm ready for spring.

I think I have sat still long enough that I am simply wallowing in the quiet and unable to relax. I live in a state of anxiety, so it's difficult, but I am ready for life. I'm ready to live.

I need to stay positive, to stay motivated, to allow myself to take days off to simply exist, but I want so much to enjoy the world around me and feel connected to it.

I'm optimistic.

what is mobility & how is it different from flexibility?

mobility is the ability of the joints to move through their full range of motion, while flexibility is the ability of the muscles to temporarily stretch.

why do mobility training?

there are many different benefits of mobility training, including:

increased flexibility

reduced risk of injury

improving joint & muscle health

improving range of motion

improving posture

gaining muscle strength

balance & stability

reducing pain & stiffness in the body

when should i start?

now! there’s a common misconception that you shouldn’t need mobility training until you are in your later years and your mobility starts to decline, but mobility training is useful no matter your age. in fact, the sooner you start, the less mobility & joint problems you will experience as you age.

how often should i train mobility?

mobility training is safe and beneficial to do daily, but ideally, you should try to train mobility at least 5 times per week for at least 5-10 minutes each time.
