yan!sukuna who's tired of the same festival over and over again...yes it brings him gold and fortune that is basically a bribe so that he doesn't destroy this village. Another gold piece he'll never wear and another...
yan!sukuna who's a bit confused by who's kneeling in front of him right now. your parents(?) are raving about how you'll be a perfect spouse—servant—anything, anything he wants. you don't seem all that disturbed, just looking at him with those big eyes...looking at him like he just created the universe.
he accepts the offering- you - mostly because of confusion and curiosity. he doesn't really know what do with you. he sends you to help Uraume with tasks, you make a mean tempura that even he bothers eating. he's never had many companions as a cursed spirit except for uraume, especially a non sorcerer, you claim your parents never taught you how.
yan!sukuna who grows fonder as you spend time with him. when he's destroying another village that doesn't quite please him, he let's you stray to the pretty flowers (not too far though, you're still his). uraume also seems to..tolerate you? you can't tell, they gave you a lot of cooking lessons though!
yan!sukuna who keeps...staying close to you. one of his lower arms is always there, lingering on your hip. the only time it's not is when you could possibly be in danger. he likes how your eyes always look away almost as if it's a sin.
he likes giving you the eyes of the most 'fair' person in the village. they're never as fair. never as beautiful.

I wish you a nice day! I hope you guys are well.
It's 端午节, so I drew some little drawings that feature some characters having 粽/粽籽/粽子 Zongzi. (The leaves of the zongzi in my drawings are removed already! You don't eat the leaves! Is it true that there are people actually swallow those leaves??? 😰Those leaves are served as bags… 😂😂😂)
The picture above is 研仔 Little Yan and the persona of @suekis-stuff Beatrice. They are having a pleasant meal. 😆😆😆
And I also want to introduce other members of Little Yan's family: 阿敏 Min (the one in the middle), and 一嚿云 Cloudy One (the tiny one who is next to Min). Yeah, my characters probably have strange names, but their names are supposed to be special and "strange"(in a good way) (their names are originally in Chinese, so it's okay to translate them into sth uncommon).
Min says that Little Yan is having the fifth zongzi, which means Little Yan has had too much, and he isn't allowed to have more zongzi today. (That zongzi thingy can easily cause health probables if he has more than two at a time. 😂😂😂) (btw the chopsticks are actually really long. )
I think Little Yan can make zongzi. Perhaps he made the zongzi for everyone here. 🤔I posted drawings showing him cooking Cantonese food, and it is probably easy for him to make zongzi (at least, some certain zongzi types).
One more drawing of Min and Little Yan. She sometimes holds Little Yan like this (Yan is fluffy and soft! And he's a cute little dinosaur! I mean he is a fantasy creature, and his "origin" is 大麻鳽 Botaurus stellaris, great bittern. Cool dinosaur, right? ).
I know that there is the translation (I mean "Dragon Boat Festival") of this festival, but I kind of dislike the translation. 😂 I hate it when people translate "龙" into "dragon", because personally I think it's absolutely offensive and ridiculous, and the thing is that there is no "龙" (or "凤凰", "玄武", "神鼋", etc.) in English! And it's so freaking annoying to see people regarding "龙" as "dragons". Many people don't know it's really RUDE and totally offensive to call "龙" (as well as anything related to this concept) dragon, I am afraid. In this case, I find it a bit uncomfortable to use the word "dragon boat". 😂😂😂
(But unfortunately, I sometimes have to use these weird translations. 🙄)
(I honestly hope the official translation can be changed in the future. )
The name "Loong" or "Long" is at least better than "Dragon". 🙄
Well, the boat racing is in fact a kind of religious ceremony and a way to offer sacrifice to the Gods, the Spirits, the "Ghosts", etc. It's also a kind of game now. In my place, this event or game is called "扒龙舟". There is supposed to be a ceremony before a newly made boat can be used. And there is probably another ceremony before a boat racing match. The whole process seems interesting, but I myself know nothing about the details. 😂
And there are other events during the festival. I am only (a bit) familiar with the two I mentioned above, though. 🤔 I wanted to draw one of those boats, but I didn't get the chance to see a racing or a close look at a boat this year. (Getting a close look won't be enough anyway. I need to find a documentary about the religious and cultual stuff. )
My family gave offerings to the Gods, the Spirits and the "Ghosts" today. Giving offerings can be seen on a lot of occasions in my city, you know.

Oh this happened to me recently.
I want to write a fanfic about a guy going dancing. Okay, I need a festival. What kind of festival could work with an underground kingdom? Okay, which festival could I pull off? Ooh! Halloween, or All Hallow’s Eve, is said to have been influenced by ancient Christian, pagan, and Irish traditions. In Christianity, Halloween in the first day of AllHallowTide, a festival consisting of All Hallow’s Eve, All Hallow’s Day, and All Soul’s day. The celebration was meant to remember the dead. In pagan tradition, the holiday was influenced by the ancient gealic festival of Samhain, which marks the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter. During the festival, large bonfires were lit and the bones of animals kept for slaughter were thrown in as a sacrifice. According to gaelic mythology, during this time, the boundary between the living world and the spirit world is at its thinnest, allowing spirits to cross into our world. According to legend, the spirit of a man named stingy Jack was cursed to wonder the earth for an eternity after his death, with nothing but a hollowed out turnip containing a lit coal to guide his way. He was dubbed Jack of the Lantern or Jack O’ Lantern. The Irish people would carve out gourds, such as turnips, to ward off malicious spirits. Irish immigrants in North America began to use pumpkins because they were easier to carve. The children of the poor would wear costumes and go from door to door of the wealthy receiving small gifts of special cakes called soul cakes in exchange for a song or a prayer for the dead. Eventually children took up this practice by going from door to door asking for small gifts of food or money. Eventually All these traditions evolved into the Halloween that we all know and love.

Every year me and my family go to The South Of France. In August every year the local villages hold their own festivals. Two years running now Pomerols, village in South Of France, didn't have their own festival. A pity as the festival is entertaining and enjoyable to watch. However I was able to take images of the Festival Des Animaux Toteniques 2019!
South Of France Festival
Mostly every year we go to The South Of France. We tend to stay at small villages not far from the beach. One of the villages we stay at is Pomerols. In August every year the local villages hold their own festival. This was the first time we attended Pomerols festival. Other villages take part as well. It was really good and enjoyable.
