So in wolau, Joel is a godlike (=person who has been gifted powers by a god)

What if, i made Jizzy cannon, but instead of Joel, Stratos (Joels god) is dating Lizzie.

Bc I'm debating making smalletho cannon and i don't wanna like, kill off lizzie or just not have her in the fic :(

...also i think Lizzie deserves to date a god and not some random wanna be bad boy!!!

Finally had the time to finish this artwork i made for hermitaday! I almost forgot about this LMFAO-

[Day 30]: TANUKI JOEL TANUKI JOEL TANUKI JOEL-

(Whenever i export animations, procreate sometimes messes up the colors a bit? It looks fine on my ipad, but the animation is desaturated on my phone, so here's what it should look like:)

Anyways, i thought it would be funny to draw Joel summoning Effo, inspired by Grian & Scar summoning mumbo during season 8. It turned out even sillier than i thought it would and i absolutely love it wkdhwjd

(explanation of the animation + sketch of the tail below!)

Also wanted to show off the sketch since it shows off the movement a lot better! I did end up changing a LOT (and even ended up adding some frames where i did lineart w/o a sketch inbetween... Oop-) but u can still kind of see the drag and offset?

So basically: since the tail isn't a stiff object like... A table or sth, it has multiple 'joints' (<-don't remember the proper term for it). Now, if u animated the tail just moving back and forth it would look v v stiff and wierd, since irl the tip of the tail would be "dragged along" with the bottom (<-aka the ACTUAL joint that the movement originates from). To create a more organic and realistic movement, you need to slightly delay the other parts of the tail. I usually use those lil circles to sketch this out at first, since its a lot easier to do without having to worry about shape and perspective and such.

(in theory i know wayyy too much about animation, but in practice im still struggling to do it bc i don't have much experience animating ekfhakdj- i do know the theory p well, which is why im hoping his lil explanation might help someone! Let me know if u guys want me to include some art theory lessons more often :D)

Grrrr i dont have the time to finish this today :( have the idea & the line art instead, ill post the finished one once its done! (I'll prob do the other hermitaday challenges first tho, so it might take a while)

Do u see my vision tho. The absolute sillyness those 3 get up to. (sketchy, semi accurate color pallete below!)

The color pallete will prob still change a bit, this is just like a vague test that i base it off of? I usually select and change colors as i go, i rarely stick with the original version wodhskej

I was thinking about the parallels between Etho and Joel in Limited Life and Wild Life. They need to meet. I need to know how they would react. I can’t decide if they would be best of friends or worst of enemies.

I drew this because I am literally incapable of being normal about them interacting for any length of time.

This is just a silly doodle that I made mostly to express my absolute love for the moment when Etho compliments the gramophone and you can actively hear Joel taking damage trying to resist calling him old lol.

It’s like this video was tailor made to cater to my interests specifically.

also I drew this and retrospectively it looks a lot more suspicious than I meant it to lol I just meant to put their faces really close together for sillys. Also for people seeing this who are looking at the og picture and saying wow are you sure that’s actually them should give a big round of applause to obscurettafficscreencaps for verifying that this is indeed a screenshot of my two favorite idiots based solely upon their shoes. If they took the screenshot then double applauding for picking this specific moment to immortalize on the internet forever.

Joel meets Ethostrapod and Etho meets Snoel Snailishbeans. Joel is like ‘Grian said it was fine to touch other people’s snails!’ And Etho is like ‘Grian said it was fine to touch other people’s snails…’ lol he is in fear of the shrek snail. also in my heart of hearts I am a bug Joel truther and I choose to believe someone (Gem) compared him to his snail constantly. Like you know they were makin’ those ‘corporate needs you to find the difference between these two pictures -they’re the same picture’ memes about the snail - bean man duo back on Hermitcraft while the episode was running.

anyway I saw those snails and my first thought was that someone could make a killing on Etsy selling crocheted snail versions of people complete with pun names to the traffic fandom. Well actually my first thought was probably more along the lines of oh gosh what is that thing, but, you know, once I recovered from the shock I saw immediate business potential and can confirm I would spend all my money there. Also I really need little snailishbeans mementos to go broke buying and proudly plaster my room with lol (this entire paragraph is /silly)
