I have a contribution for World Water Day: As we consider improving water we must consider air quality.  Our Planets Water System includes the formation of water into gas and then into liquid rain.  The effect of bad air will continue to impact water supplies.  I can report that NASA has a DC8 Airplane dedicated to studying similar phenonemon

ATom measures more than 200 gases and airborne particles in the atmosphere over the oceans to better understand how gases, such as methane, and ozone and airborne particles, such as black carbon, enter, transform and are ultimately removed from the atmosphere. These processes are key components of Earth's air quality and climate.

In the vast expanse of the Malian🇲🇱 desert where the security situation remains volatile, Mission des Nations Unies au Mali - MINUSMAcontributes to restoring peace, through stabilization and recovery projects, working hand in hand with the Malian communities to minimize economic and social inequalities, to promote peace and long-term stability.

Through several projects related to water and food security in the region of Timbuktu, intercommunal violence is decreasing, and families are finding a relative safety. These projects include providing access to drinking water, providing support during the seed season and improving livestock conditions.
