Okay question for y'all (because my best friend hates me and won't answer 🙄) if Tomura Shigaraki, Ocean O'Connell Rosenburg, and Chappell Roan were the only candidates in the presidential race, who would you vote for? Not who you think would win, but who you would vote for. Also yes these people are connected but I'm not explaining unless you ask because it's silly.

I don't think I should have a vote because I am biased: I love Shigaraki, feel mediocre about Ocean, and dislike Chappell Roan (it's a whole thing that I'm not going to get into, I'm sure she's a sweet woman!)

Shigaraki would probably wreck the justice system OR do great things for it, possibly demolish cops which I mean can't blame him ACAB ✊ he also is not a bigot (Friends with Magne and Toga who are lgbt, Spinner who is oppressed/a minority, people of many races, and mentally ill people, as well as minors in general) he'd also probably do decent things for the fostercare system... Once he's done banning heros that is.

It's been a minute since I've seen ride the cyclone so if I say anything wrong please forgive me. Ocean is a dead teenage girl (already off to a not great start) I believe she is religious but I may be misremembering, I also am pretty sure she did not believe Noel about being gay but I could be misremembering. She also supports democracy.

I dislike Chappell Roan so I feel like I shouldn't list pros or cons for her, anyways- She's lgbtq friendly, however I think she'd get upset with the publicity coming with being the literal president (no hate to her, I get it) I could see it being a Biden situation where people are super excited for her to be president but then hate her when she is. Plus how will she juggle being a pop-singer and president? Concerts in the Whitehouse perhaps?

FYI: I want to like Chappell but I'm struggling to, you are welcome to try to change my mind!

TLDR: All have pros and cons, my vote goes to Shigaraki because I'm biased.

I'm not a very religious person despite being raised in a faith driven household, but I pray some kind of miracle will happen. I can't even begin to imagine how many Americans must feel right now. I'm lucky not to be in America, but no matter what, America leads the Western world, and whatever happens will affect everyone. As a trans person, I hope the trans and queer people of America support each other and keep fighting if Trump wins. I know a lot of people have given up hope, but I won't. A lot of votes still haven't been counted. In 2020, the statistics were extremely similar at the beginning of the votes compared to the 2024 votes. I truly do believe it's not entirely over yet, but if anyone needs support or anything along those lines, comment or dm me even to just be able to have someone listen to what you're saying.

I hope for the best. Please have water and food, sleep, and keep going on, take your daily/weekly medication dosage if you take any, sleep, have a shower. It might not be okay now, but there will always be people who look out for you.

Finally made a poster for my show!

Honestly I’d take Max over both current presidential candidates any day. Or maybe I’ve gone just as insane as he is. Also, I usually don’t like talking about politics openly (especially online) cause I don’t like tribalism, unless of course something pisses me off so much I have to say something. (That happens way too often for my liking. Why can’t I just watch the world burn and enjoy it?)

To everyone out there who is feeling furious or hopeless or confused or betrayed:

You feelings are valid.

It’s so absolutely infuriating that the United States as a country would choose this type of leadership. But I want to remind you to please, please, please keep going. Even though it feels awful and hopeless and confusing. Keep going.

We can and we will get through this together and you are so important to me ❤️

Just heard a local radio station talking about the president's who came from Ohio. When they got to the part where they talked about Ulysses S Grant, they played the Imperial March from Star Wars.

If they were trying to compare Grant with Darth Vader and the Empire, I don't get it.

So I googled Elvis on the DC wiki

It was mostly empty, but I noticed that there was a version called "President Presley" from Earth-1098

Researching Earth-1098 reveals that this is a hypertime variant or something? And I thought this it was like a variant of Kingdom Come universe because it first showed up in the second issue of "the Kingdom" but it's not? Cuz the costume designs don't match at all?

Anyways, after some google-justu and some (un)educated guesses, I've come to the conclusion that 1098 takes place in 2013 - 16

Cuz Supergirl generally arrives at least 20 years after Kal El (he's generally an fully grown man when she arrives) and when I look at the images of 1098 S-Girl I think she looks around the same age as Power Girl(?) maybe? I dunno but power girl is like 30 years old when compared to Supergirl. anyways S-Girl (alt name used 1098 Kara) says that Wonder Woman and the Justice society raised her. Also Batgirl seems to be around the same age as Bruce Wayne (or at least old enough to confide in him about this stuff), and as we all know, Bruce is a 30 something year old playboy. Therefore that means that Batgirl is in her 20s-30s as well. I guess. And when you compare that to the young adult/teen counterparts from the main continuity, this leads me to believe that earth 1098 takes place at minimum 15 years after 1998. Though tbh I think that it's more likely to be closer to 18/20 years as that feels better in my head. Anyways.

With this timeframe I have concluded that Elvis either beat Obama in the 2008 election, or he Beat Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Or maybe he ran Republican. Not much is known about the Kings political beliefs, but what is known (thru very confident google results) is that he was a Democrat back in the days before the parties basically swapped(I think? I dunno political history), and would probably run as a Republican. But not like a modern Republican, more like a "liberal conservative" question mark? Either way I doubt he could be much worse than the orange ogre. At least he can sing. That's a better quality for a president than being an ignorant buffoon, right?
