Love when a fandom shifts from calling characters Boyfriend's or Girlfriends in posts to calling them Husbands and Wives, its as if they actually got married at some point and we all just missed it

"His husband-" Omg congratulations! so sad I missed the ceremony I was doing my exams <3

"Her wife-" Hope the happy couple likes my wedding gift when it comes in the mail <3

the blog killing axolotl is one of my favorite things that has ever happened on this website because talking about it afterwards sounds like an inside joke or perhaps a prank. like always be on the lookout for the blog killing axolotl. he can kill your blog. it happened to me once trust me.

This is how I feel when I discover a new feature on Tumblr or have to do something I've never done before, because I'm new and still trying to figure this out:

OH MY GODDESS, I forgot I replied "elf free trial" on a post, and somebody REPLIED.

I was SO confused about what Dollar Store elves were.

I have never thought about it before, but I have to agree. It feels like I talk to real people here then on anything else and the best part, nothing needs to make sense

as someone who has spent a lot of time on other social media platforms (instagram, twitter, tiktok, not so much facebook but i’ve dabbled, snapchat way back when) tumblr is by far my favorite. it’s the one where other accounts feel the most like real people, which is strange bc instagram and tiktok literally show you people’s faces all the time. but you can’t beat following people and seeing what they post chronologically, instead of what the algorithm has decided you’ll be interested in (rip chronological instagram, im still upset about it)

Me: only interacts with writing posts and anime

Tumblr: you want to see politics?!

Me: *not interested x1000*

Tumblr: oh so you *really* wanna see politics huh?!

I know it’s an election season but ffs.
