Okay, I can't put into words how much this art means to me!!!!
The Last Unicorn is possibly my favourite animated movie! It wasn't my favourite growing up because I couldn't fully grasp it. When I was growing up, I always thought it was a fever dream I had, and no one else I talked to knew about it.
But not too long after I realised I was trans (late teens), I rewatched it and Oh my gods!
I cried at the scene where she realised she was made human and yelled out. "I wish you had let the Red Bull take me! I wish you had left me to the harpy! I can feel this body DYING all around me!" Every moment, every quote. 🫠😍
So, seeing others make fan art and see that others remember it! It truly is wonderful 🥹
I know I am human, but something deep within me resonates so close with The Unicorn and her perspective.

Just read the last unicorn and was inspired by the story which schmendrik told about the male unicorn who was turned into a human and married a princess. Just imagining the pain he went through when the one in the story rather wanted to die then become a mortal human.
