this one creep just tells shit and nothing more, but how many people were r@ped and killed by ruzzians during the war...? sick nation ought to be wasted.
an "ordinary russian" man : "I want to catch a 16-year-old khokhlushka (slur for a ukrainian woman) whose father died near Bakhmut, take off her underwear and tights, leave her only with a t-shirt with the inscription “Everything will be Ukraine”and roar to deflower her, kissing her tears and looking at her into the eyes where the pupils dilate to the size of Mother Russia."
these are the people you like to infantilise and justify so much btw
On the right bank of the Kherson region, 1,335 houses were under water. On the left bank, 7 settlements were partially flooded, Korsunka and Dnipryany were completely flooded, the Regional Military Administration reported. It was already possible to evacuate 1,364 people.

Still think it's "Putin's war"? Let's see what the russian soldiers who "don't really want it" discuss with their women who "are victims too"
Intercepted conversations of russians:
1. A russian soldier tells his mother how a ukrainian woman and her two children were killed in front of him. He relished the story. And she said that those innocent civilians were "enemies, fascists, they deserved it".
2. The second one talks about the order to kill civilians. He had seen the forest with corpses and now he could hear the flesh thrown on the roadsides. He said he would follow the order, that he would kill. Every civilian he saw.
3. A child from a russian school was collecting a parcel for her brother (?) to go to war. In the letter, she wrote to him: "Kill all Ukrainians as soon as possible and come back."
He and his mother are laughing.
4. "Mum, I killed civilians. I would throw them into a trench and shoot them in the head. They begged and pleaded, but I shot them in the head." He laughs when he tells this story.
5. "Do you know what 21 rosettes from a human body are? I helped, I did it. I got such a thrill. To cut them. Torture them". Mother says that if she were in his place, she would also be satisfied.
Another said that killing children is not murder. "Because killing Ukrainian children is right!"
doctors from Ochmatdit clinic, that specialized on treating children with cancer and was struck by missile during the attack this morning, are helping with cleaning up the rubble and getting the children from under the building, even though they themselves are hurt
This is what Vovchansk looks like now, in the Kharkiv region, which is under constant Russian fire
I sit in the dark like a bat. And I have to sympathize with the Russians who are doing nothing to solve their problems or issues. I have to rejoice that we are being destroyed. Kinzhals, cruise and ballistic missiles are now flying across the country. They are flying to my region.
im so tired of seeing that Ukrainians are "white privileged." WHERE. WHERE THE FUCK. JUST WHERE. Ukrainians and Ukrainian culture whas been OPPRESSED. Ukrainian language and culture has been BANNED from everything by russia CENTURIES AGO. Ukrainian artists and writers have been KILLED AND OPPRESSED AND BANNED from writing literature in Ukrainian. we are literally being KILLED just because we are Ukrainian. what the fuck do you mean by white privilege.
The quotes featured in these slides represent some of the last words spoken by Ukrainian defenders.
For news and information specifically about the war, as well as some general educational content about Ukraine where it adds context, there's this dedicated website, that's a great resource on the war in Ukraine:
For news in general about Ukraine from Ukraine (obviously including the war, but also other news), these are two good choices:
"Ukrinform" - Ukrainian National News Agency:
"The Kyiv Independant" - Ukraine's biggest English language news site:
___________
If you prefer a source that's not involved in the war or with Ukraine for objectivity... In terms of non-Ukrainian /Western news I generally - for any kind of world news - prefer and recommend Reuters. It's my go-to (non Ukrainian) news source to follow international events, because by my observation it's the most objective and neutral one. So much so that it's often almost boring to read, compared to articles from other sources, and sometimes even borderline infuriating in its neutrality where common sense clearly suggests a certain judgement, but in the context of news we want factual information over entertainment or opinions, and Reuters will provide that more reliably than others:
___________
PS: Please also read this post of mine to learn why it really matters to get your Ukraine related news from a Ukrainian source, or at least include Ukrainian sources in your media consumption, rather than using exclusively Western sources.
I was listening to an interview about Ukraine and the interviewer was talking how there's no empathy for russian soldiers "not asking for sympathy for the Russians as an invading force, but empathy for humans" is the direct quote and while yes empathy for humans should exist, highlighting this in this context is bizzare. He then follows saying that these are young soldiers and the west is celebrating when "they are sent to their mothers" (meaning celebrating their deaths).
And what struck me the most is him saying this: "Soldiers who've been sent to war not by their choice, they follow military, they follow orders". Quick question: how do you think defeated nazi soldiers were trying to avoid punishment for their war crimes? What "argument" was real popular, don't you remember? This exact "argument" is the reason why International Law actually explicitly states that if a higher ups in the war are forcing a soldier to execute unlawful acts, the soldier has the right and responsibility to refuse this order. In International Law "I was following orders" is not an admissible argument. If the Russian soldiers don't want to commit war crimes, they are, by law, obliged to refuse the orders. Yet the Russian army still stands, still committing war crimes in Ukraine. But yeah, poor russian young boys sent to their mothers…
Yes I do have empathy for brainwashed and indoctrinated youth of an authoritarian state, no I don't have empathy for war criminals.
20 Days in Mariupol (Mstyslav Chernov, 2023)
"An emotionally devastating account of the inhumanity of war."
"Documentary film-making rarely gets more impactful and devastating than this personalised account of life inside the southern Ukrainian city of Mariupol at the start of last year’s Russian invasion."
you just read a news piece "Ukraine returned 4 kids from russian territories aged 17, 9, 6 and 3" and think: finally some good fucking news, but then you scroll further and you see the numbers 19,000 deported and 1,400 missing and you just don’t understand what should we do to safe them, who should we ask and beg for help.
"My son was tortured by separatists (those who believe Donbas and Crimea are russian). His documents were handed over to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Inhumans carved a kolovrat on his face." - mother of the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ivan Isyk.
A month after his death, the body of 30-year-old Ivan was given to his parents.
An autopsy performed by Ukrainian doctors revealed that his internal organs had been cut out and later sewn back into his body. A piece of the Ukrainian flag was found in his throat, and brain fragments were found in his stomach. And Ivan Isyk, who was still alive, had a kolovrat carved on his cheek (the symbol of the "Rusich" battalion, where maniacs Petrovsky and another ghoul named Milchakov served.)
This photo shows Russian neo-Nazi Yan Petrovsky, who was arrested by Finland in July 2023:
We must never forget that back in 2014, the Ukrainian Hero, a simple boy from Drohobych IVAN ISYK, died at the cost of his life with a terrible death":
The girls singing in this video were killed in a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia an hour after the performance 💔
Svitlana Semeikina and Kristina Spitsyna were performing to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Their parents are now also defending Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
The girls were only 19 and 21 years old. On August 9, they were killed by a Russian missile.
a devastasting video from occupied left bank of Kherson region. A woman and her children plead for evacuation but rescuers nor Ukrainian soldiers cannot physically reach them. orcs left them to die along with other 22 000 - 40 000 people. russia must burn.
Yes, they have done it, the act of ecocide. It was predicted almost a year ago when it was first reported that the Russians had mined the dam. They've been preparing for it. Over the past few months, they have been draining the reservoir while simultaneously filling all reservoirs in Crimea, because blowing up this dam means no more fresh water supply to Crimea. So everyone who claimed that Russia invaded Ukraine to secure fresh water for Crimea can now go fuck themselves.
Of course they first claimed it was Ukraine's doing. Although some occupiers already happily admit that it was russia who blew it up, and call for blowing up more of Ukraine's infrastructure.
UPDATE: video evidence that the russians did in fact blew it up, and it wasn't destroyed due to any shelling from the Ukrainian side
It's typical russian scorched earth tactics. Blowing up the dam can possibly prevent the Ukrainian army landing on the left bank of the Dnipro, and it frees russian troops from the left bank, meaning they can be sent as reinforcement to other front lines, for example, in the Donetsk region.
It is probably the greatest ecological catastrophe since Chornobyl, with thousands of people affected, left homeless, entire villages destroyed probably forever. But the russians don't give two fucks about that. They don't care about any life. Their main objective is not necessarily to claim the land for themselves, but rather to ensure it is not Ukrainian. If they cannot have it, they want to leave it uninhabitable.

Honor, Maksym.
I think about every Ukrainian artist who could have lived a long and happy life and done wonderful things but was killed by russians.
I'm thinking about russian artists who are inherently fascists and state propagandists, and how in the West they are loved and praised.
Indifference to russian crimes, support for russian occupation culture, praising russian artists and justifying their silence about the war - all of this is having a terrible effect on Ukraine now and will have terrible consequences for everyone in the future.
ik people say you shouldn't read news first thing in the morning or reach for your phone but this is how many times my city was shelled by russians in the last 24 hours (almost each paragraph is a separate case)
On Palm Sunday, Russia launched a missile strike on Sumy, slaughtering over 20 civilians and injuring many more. And they have used 'double tap' again.
Russia doesn't want a piece, they want to raise hell on Ukrainian lands. I don't have words to describe my hate towards that bloody country. I wish all of them to live through this level of pain for centuries. There's no forgiveness for such crimes.
Just two days after the previous strike, russia hits Kryvyi Rih again. They struck a residential area, next to a playground. In the early evening, when parents and children were outside.
As of now, 14 people are known to have been killed, including 6 children.
In the photo, parents stand over the body of their killed 15-year-old son.
Back in 2022, the world was saying "russian war of aggression will not be normalised". Today, in 2025, we are just numbers. Russia killing Ukrainians for the sin of existing has been normalised. Our lives are a boring statistic and our tragedies barely ever make it into the world news. Because this is no longer news.
Ukrainians on occupied territories are about to be deported from their homes if they don't obtain russian passport. This is genocide.
russia breaks the ceasefire two hours after they agreed to stop strikes on Ukraine’s energy sector - by bombing the power system of Slovyansk, Donetsk region, half of the city is without electricity.
Another 2 hours later they bomb a hospital in Sumy. Then launched attack drones all over the country.
“Ceasefire” my ass
Fuck you and fuck your “peace talks”
You don’t want peace. You want us to die more quietly.
Thank you all, people
Russia invaded Ukraine.
Any "deal" which rewards Russia in its mass butchery, rape, and slaughter of Ukrainians is not a peace plan, it is a capitulation. It is a green light to Russia that they are free to murder their way through Ukraine as much as they please down the line, bringing 19th century style colonial warfare forward to the 21st century. This behavior by Russia has historical precedence stretching back centuries--longer than the U.S., in fact, has been a country. Ukrainians understand this. They have lived it, generation upon generation. They know what happens when you make a "deal" with Russia.
For any Westerner, and this includes the President of the United States, to lecture Ukrainians about peace is an abject disgrace to the sacrifices Ukraine has made for democracy and freedom. We in the U.S. should be thanking Ukraine, lest our soldiers be the ones dying in the fields for freedom. To those Americans who object to us supporting Ukraine by sending our decades-old tech, which sits unused in bone fields, to Ukraine so that they might survive another day, ask yourselves: Would you rather pay with your blood? Every civilian butchered, every Ukrainian child stolen, and every inch of Ukrainian land torn away incurs a debt to both justice and righteousness. What we don't pay in dollars now, we will pay with bodies later. Ask the Ukrainians what that means, for they have already been paying the ultimate price for over ten years straight.
I have been to Ukraine before and after the war; I have seen their beautiful town squares filled with flowers replaced with the long bulletin boards of portraits of soldiers who died defending liberty. There is no American alive today who bears the tired eyes of Ukrainians waking up to the sound of sirens every day, for three years straight, because their homes are under threat of bombardment and destruction. What happened to the America of my grandfathers, the lauded "Arsenal of Democracy", who would have stood unflinchingly behind a people fighting for their freedom and ours and been proud of it? Are we truly okay with voting alongside the real murderous, bloody dictators like Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko, and Kim Jong Un, who achieve their goals in this world by crossing mountains made from the bodies of slaughtered innocents?
To my Ukrainian friends, I'm so sorry. I'm ashamed beyond words to watch the President of my country berate yours in what is supposed to be the People's office. Please know that millions of Americans do not stand for this: We stand behind you and we stand with Ukraine, even if our country has abdicated its role in defending liberty. May America rediscover her priorities and recover from the disgrace of the words said today by men who have no shame, and may Russia lose this bloody, murderous, genodical war. It could end today if Russia simply went home. It is that easy, it always was, and it always will be, no matter how the powerful may try to rape the truth.
Слава Україні, until the very end. 🕊💙💛
"March 16, 2022. On the ground near the theater, large letters spelling out the word "CHILDREN" were visible - but this did not stop the russian murderers from committing a terrible terrorist attack in peaceful Mariupol exactly three years ago.
The russian occupiers dropped a bomb on the Drama Theater. This tragic place at that time became a refuge for many Mariupol residents seeking protection from the endless bombardment.
The number of victims is still impossible to determine for sure. However, it is estimated that between 300 and 600 innocent civilians died that day.
what a unique experience to live in a country next to russia. Only here, in Ukraine, you can wake up in the middle of the night, listen to a russian drone with a growing buzz hit somewhere nearby, recover for half a minute, look out the window as another drone flies right over your house, scratch your head, and watch as a third one is shot down even closer a couple of minutes later
russian kamikaze drone btw:
Trump literally wants to "negotiate" with Putin behind Ukraine's back openly admitting Ukraine has "no cards" (and therefore no chance at getting a peace deal that isn't to Russia's benefit), repeats russian propaganda, constantly antagonises Ukraine, doesn't even want to call Russia the aggressor in a UN resolution, constantly repeats that he wants to improve relations with Russia, doesn't seem to care about providing Ukraine ANY kind of peace guarantee and openly blocks a NATO-entry, gets praised by the Russian government for 'understanding' them, and wants Ukraine to "pay back" US military aid with minerals when even after an abstract peace deal Ukraine will need even more money for rebuilding itself.... And Ukraine's not even trending?
