One of my doubts I have about the AU where Bobutter are parents would be the reaction of all the other characters in relation to their relationship and children. I think they would have a very secret and discreet relationship, maybe even the wedding would be something simple, maybe it would just be them and the priest. I don't know if I would put on a party where Bojack would invite his old friends...because they arent really friends anymore? Maybe PB would want to invite his family to his wedding with BJ, but since BJ would like something more discreet it would be just them. And somehow, that made everything even more intimate? So the discovery of their relationship would be huge Hollywood gossip. News like "Are Bojack Horseman/PB gay?"; "Take the horse out of the closet"; "Maybe that was why he never worked out with his 3 ex wives/That explains the cancellation of Horses Around"; Imagining the public's reaction is easier. Maybe Todd would try to talk to both of them? Would Princess Caroline make a call? Diane? This would bring great stress to both of them. To Bojack for the public comments, and PB for seeing him so eager. It would take time for the gossip to pass. So hiding your children from the public would be a sensible but difficult option. hey! yes, at first they would definitely have to deal with a huge amount of gossip, journalists would break into their house, catch them on the street etc. i personally think that bobutters wouldn't hold a ceremony at all and instead simply sign; they'd rather celebrate their marriage in full during the honeymoon, where it'd be just the two of them.

so yeah, they would have a hard time at first with a bunch of chasing paparazzi and all that, but eventually it'd settle down. it's not that bojack would be much favored in the media after that, but in my opinion, they'd not have to hide the children, since by then no one would care anymore

about the fact that crackerjack eventually finds out about his father's past.... tbh it'd be VERY interesting to see heheh..... their relationship would change a lot, that's for sure, as well as his worldview in general. if you do decide to write a fanfiction or express this idea in some other form (comic? article?), i (we) will be happy read it! <3

oh actually your idea sounds even more interesting in that way. if their rather old age has any special effect on their relationship with the kids it'd be interesting to consider!

omg i was also thinking about labrador twins!! that's just such an awfully sweet concept! i also like that bobutters would name them after sarah lynn and crackerjack (or bojack could give one of his children the name harper out of strong sentimentality??).

Thank you so much for being so kind and giving us your art! Serious. About Crackerjack, ideas about him may change in my mind, but, I think I would like him to have the classic diamond shape on his forehead, a gap between his teeth like his paternal grandmother, black hair like Bojack, but it would be straighter and well-behaved, and the brown skin of his great-grandfather or great-grandmother. He likes more *elegant* clothes? Or even sport style because PB could always take him to exercise he feels more confident. But he also often dresses like his parents. A similar style. As a teenager he could be described as "cool". In adult life he is more of a businessman. And I think he would be a lawyer. interesting design! and i like that eventually he will become a lawyer and his work will not be related to the entertainment industry. although the kids might work as actors for a while, as you say (bobutters would be against it but maybe crackerjack was in his "daaad i'm an adult i can do whatever i want" phase and they gave up), but still decided not to get involved directly with it (at least crackerjack did).

If Bojack and PB started a relationship after the end of season 6 and got married, do you think it would be discreet? or that they would like to have children? I honestly think they would be really cute as parents. For me, they would both make great parents, honestly. They have their flaws and personal problems that we all already know what they are, but in several episodes Bojack is shown dreaming of having a family, and being a father. Like the episode where he dreams of having a daughter, or the one about the baby seahorse. I think they could adopt, or try artificial insemination. In the story I thought of in my head, which may never see the light of day, they are already married and PB is thinking a lot about building a family with Bojack. And PB thought it would be great to have a son who looked like Bojack. So, reluctantly, Bojack does and they have a horse son. A little while later PB tries it with his own DNA. The story would have a bit of Bojack's hesitation, as, for him, it would be better if his bloodline ended with him. But PB's request was so genuine that he tried to do what he didn't want, even though deep down he also wanted to do it (since deep down he always wanted to have a family and be a father, even if he didn't know it). That's clear. that would cause problems between them, but would be resolved with conversation and love.
