So, while drawing this, I noticed the strangest thing. Kirby characters have a specific style of eyes, and the only main difference is if they have the white sclera (like Dedede, or Adeleine) or if their eyes are entirely one color (Like Susie and Magolor). But, Ribbon is weird because she is the only character to have actual pupils. The things you notice when you actually draw a character vs. just looking at them, huh?

I can, in fact, do that. I added in a green heart this time for Adeleine since it seemed like the most fitting out of all the soul traits. I really liked adding all the little shinies in their eyes. It's so cute!

Adeleine is such a cool character because it’s incredibly easy to traumatize her just by giving her a backstory.
So basically, I really don't like that alt. mask they made for Adeleine in RTDLD.
Also note that I personally think that Ado and Adeleine are the same character, but to make this design actually plausible to appear in a game it couldn't actually confirm that they're the same and could only reference Ado due to Hal Laboratory's vagueness on that subject. Funnily enough, the Nintendo of UK and Nintendo of België official channels state Adeleine is from Kirby 64 and Dream Land 3.

SO! I know my last post was also about a post that @jojo-schmo made. BUT! This post almost made me drop my last one, cause Adeleine is my favorite Kirby character.
I absolutely love the headcanon that the Ancients are sort of a collection of different races/species with humans being a part of them. I had a similar idea prior to that post, but it feels awesome to know that someone else feels similarly!
This post is basically just a headcanon that Hyness would randomly comment that "OH yeah! Humans are Ancients." But then just never elaborate and let everyone be confused.
Maybe he gives Adeleine a nickname like 'Adure' or something. (In reference to the FL languages word for 'Canvas', which is 'Adureshia') and no one would understand until after the Forgotten Land stuff happens.
It would make sense that Adeleine is the only human on Popstar if humans are Ancients since Hyness is also an Ancient, and he's the only one of his kind on Popstar as well.
Her post also lowkey gave me an idea for how Adeleine could end up on Popstar, and I might actually act on it later on. Yeah, I know, Adeleine is my favorite character, but I didn't already have a headcanon on her past. IT'S JUST SO HARD, OKAY????

What kind of toy is Adeleine turning into?
A doll.
Haven't posted anything in a while so I am actually going to start revealing some lore about my Kirby AU.
The basic gist is that Adeleine gets trapped in a toy house where she slowly starts turning into a toy herself, kinda like Coraline. She meets Kirby and Ribbon, two main residents, who decide to help her escape, both for their own personal reasons. Adeleine has to make it through the "rooms" of the other inhabitants and defeat them to escape, while an ominous Intruder follows.
Adeleine is mostly weirded out by Kirby, but is grateful towards his help. Kirby knows the toy house inside and out, partly due to his close relationship with the Ringmaster. He usually doesn't help new inhabitants, but after looking at Adeleine's eye, he's decided to help out, and more importantly, keep an eye on the new human.
Susie is... complicated. She resides in one of the later rooms, but her machines are everywhere, as she had a bit of a hand in the creation of the toy house and was even a companion of the Ringmaster. After some creative differences, Susie got her memory wiped and became one of the first inhabitants of the toy house. She's a bit of a haughty prick, with Adeleine not having the highest opnion of her, though she toughs through it for her help. Susie's far reach in the toy house make her a valuable ally and dangerous enemy, so Adeleine makes sure to stay on her good side.
