me, checking the news at the beginning of my journey back home : oh thank god there's a ceasefire.
me, checking the news after reaching home and freshening up : ayo what the fuck?
Ceasefire violated within 3.5 hours of implementation. Prime minister claiming the army has gone rouge. Pakistan, loves, i think you have seen this film before and you didn't like the ending
Meet Fatima Bhutto. A columnist who often writes opinion pieces on various western publications, especially about Kashmir. She often calls Indians as Israelis, thusly trying to appeal to her ummah or the pro-palestine crowd. Who is she though? Let's look into her biography.
Fatima is the granddaughter of the former Prime Minister and President of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. In 1963, Bhutto was minister of foreign affairs and put the "Operation Gibraltar" into fruition (which fuelled terrorism in Kashmir). Pakistan's leadership specifically chose this name to draw a parallel to the Muslim conquest of the Iberian peninsula that was launched from Gibraltar. The very next year there was a false flag incident in Kashmir which led to the Pakistan sponsored anti-Hindu genocide in 1964.
He was the President of Pakistan from 1971 to 1973. His party Pakistan People's Party (PPP) lost to East Pakistan's Sheikh Mujibur (Mujib) Rahman's Awami League (AL). Bhutto refused to allow Mujib in the National Assembly as he considered Mujib's 6-point demand as a road to secession. It was under his command that the Operation Searchlight, where Bengali intellectuals were massacred at Dhaka University, both Hindu and Muslim professors and students were killed, took place. At the same time, all the Hindu neighbourhoods in Dhaka were attacked. It was under his presidency that Pakistan committed a genocide in East Pakistan, especially selecting the Hindu minority for their extermination campaign.
Fatima's aunt Benazir Bhutto held a speech in 1990, which provoked Kashmir, leading into the Kashmiri Pandit genocide.
I am personally the last person to be ethnocentric, however Fatima Bhutto's incessant attacks against India, calling India occupier settler and "Israel of South Asia", is forcing me to point out the fact that over half of her family is from Iran, Afghanistan, etc. She is telling us, Hindus, the only natives of the region, that we are occupiers. Please share this far and wide. Shame these pieces of shits wherever you find them.
This is the hill some of these men want to die on?
Honestly, none of us were prepared for this.
I cannot believe freaking Owaisi has shown more maturity, sensitivity and support for the Hindu victims killed in Pahalgam at the hands of terrorists than the freaking moral policing lefturds.
It's the myth of the “perfect victim” — the one who has never done anything mildly questionable, doesn't have an iota of supposed privilege, and, above all, is dead. Because the dead can be eulogised, not the living. A minority facing an attack can grieve openly, exact revenge, but the supposed privilege of the victims who were members of the majority must be considered when discussing their deaths, you see. Because we simply cannot be victims of a rabid hate crime. Our death and suffering will be re-contextualised, discussed, everyone and their mothers will use the term “nuance” without knowing what it means. We cannot grieve, we cannot mourn our dead. We can only apologise for dying. For being victims that don't fit the narrative. For the dead can be eulogised. The extinct civilization can be celebrated. But the one that keeps on surviving despite repeated attempts to end it all for good will always face their rabid hatred.
I tried to share my views on my Instagram story too. The message came out much clearer. So just sharing it here on Tumblr.
And some additions I made to put across my point
yes. call it what it is, islamic terrorism.
Hindus Stand Together 🫂
Against terrorism and extremism.
28 people were killed in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Why you may ask? Because they were Hindus. They were brutally murdered in front of their families just because of the faith that they practiced. This happened in a country where Hindus are a majority and still some people whine and moan that Hinduphobia is not real. I have seen people victim blame and ignore the massacre of Hindus in west Bengal and Bangladesh, and I won't be surprised if they do it again. So where are the "HiNdUpHoBiAIsNoTReAl" idiots rn? Can you say this in front of the families whose loved ones have been killed? Can you say that to the woman whose husband was killed on their honeymoon because he was not a Muslim? Some Muslim men were seen celebrating this terror attack, what do you call this depraved behaviour if not Hinduphobia?
Secularism is a joke in this country. Why must Hindus alone bear the burden of secularism? Why are so called minorities not held to the same standards? The hypocrisy is suffocating. I bet hinduphobes will come up with some excuse or other or they might label me as a islamophobe but honestly idgf. You guys are also responsible. Whoever is a silent witness and the ones defending the terrorists, All of you are responsible.
We can't catch a break from their hate.
Kashmir, Pahalgam.
The terrorists checked for their IDs, their Hinduness before shooting them.
The rage I have towards this post is truly out of this world. Stop trying to justify the violence of Muslims on Hindus. And, by the way, the father-son duo hacked to death were CPI(M) workers/supporters. They weren't involved with the BJP, the RSS, or any pro-Hindu organisations. They weren't killed because of their politics, they were killed because they were Hindus.
Here we have a hindu hating blog justifying bengal violence and the deaths of Hindus-
A friend sent this to me yesterday and I’m not surprised at all that these Hindu hating tumblr blogs are justifying even the islamist mob violence in Bengal! I’m just so disgusted…@/curtwilde is a disgusting person and everyone who follows them are directly contributing to hinduphobia and violence on innocents. TWO HINDUS WERE LITERALLY HACKED TO DEATH. HINDUS HAVE SUFFERED YEARS AND YEARS OF OPRESSION UNDER ISLAMIC RULERS SHOULD WE ALL RESORT TO VIOLENCE AND TRANSLATE IT ON INNOCENTS??? Would you justify that Curtwilde? 🤡
Also the muslim waqf board has been claiming entire villages and handing out notices to people including poor hindus to vacate their land, you would of course support this too because you are SO FYCKING DISGUSTING.
Say all this to the father and son who were hacked to death. To the people whose shops were looted. To all the displaced marginalized Hindus in Murshidabad. There is no excuse for such violence. None. The government could throw you out of your house tomorrow and it would never justify you slitting your neighbour's throat.
From a friend's post but that's what I have to say about it too.
subho noboborsho to those who celebrate. i just wish circumstances were different, that bengal wasn't turned into a burning ghat by state sponsored criminals. the biggest gift we bengalis can receive this new year is article 355 being applied to bengal. we are sick of being the targets of violence. every month, a new incident in this state. the toll this takes on us is very real. please. let us rest. you have the power to save this state. use it.
As someone who lives in Bengal, let me tell you, the day we will have to leave our homes again is very near. The Centre will just watch as we suffer the same fate as the Kashmiri pandits, and then they'll eulogised us, conveniently never mentioning that they did nothing to save us.
there's only one thing now that can stop riots like the one happening in Bengal and that is modi stepping down and yogi adityanath taking his place
West Bengal is burning again, and the Centre is silent on this issue. “Oh they deployed BSF” do you not realise what's going to happen when their deployment ends? Where is the guarantee that the Hindus affected by communal violence will not be targeted again? Do you not remember what happened in 2021 after the elections in this state? Spineless government at the Centre, just waiting for West Bengal to turn into a second Kashmir, while they stand and watch. What is stopping you from imposing Article 356? 2026 state elections? Newsflash, elections don't mean human life is expendable. You are just like the TMC. They play votebank politics, you will use us to gain sympathy points after we have been killed, raped, looted, and displaced. Vivek Agnihotri will release “The Bengal Files” and you will promote it everywhere. Just remember, your inaction, which will definitely be omitted from the film, was the reason this happened. You have the blood of innocent Hindus on your hands. I hope you never get a moment of peace, that your silence and inability to stand up for what's right haunts you forever. People of Bengal will not forgive you. You are not better than Congress, Communists, or even the TMC. In fact, you are worse. You abandoned the Hindus of Bengal. If your help is contingent on whether or not the state voted for you, I'm sorry, just step down. Petty politics at such high levels is just immature. You are unfit to be the government. My people are fleeing their homes, leaving behind their ancestral land. We've already faced this once. And now, in your rule, this is happening again. We will remember who threw us out of our homes. We will also remember who stood by and let that happen. My people deserve better than leaders who just yap on Twitter all day from the safety and comfort of their Delhi offices. Be ashamed.

A little philosophical question for you guys!
I personaly believe that morality is an subjective matter.
Firstly, as the friend of the person mentioned, it is highly influenced by society and generaly the environment we suround ourselfs in. Not only that, there are situations where people connect morality with feelings, which we all know is highly subjective topic.
Like for example, when they consider whether causing harm to someone from our family is right or not. Usualy we would say, it's obviously wrong, because of our love towards our close ones. But there are situations when in order to protect yourelf from patological situations, you need to attack them, and someone might say it is totaly alright.
The fact that we can't all agree about what is good and bad, is enough of a prove that morality is not an objective matter. That is because, for me to find it objective, we would all need to treat it like a fact that, the sky is blue for exmaple. It would need to be something that we can't question.
But I do wonder what do you guys think ? How would you aproach this topic from a hindu perspective? I can't wait to read your opinions on that!
⁂ The sources I’m going to use this year, that I also reccomend to others ⁂
So I decided to give some structure to the way I'm going to study hinduism, I think for at least the end of this year if not even longer. If you are feeling lost with the amount of sources there are out there, you can use what I share here as a possible strategy to know where to start out your journey.
Firstly, I want to highly reccomend a certain account on youtube called "By Janani". She is, obviously, a hindu girl who shares SO much knowladge about Sanatana Dharma, and spirituality in general, that it would be a shame to not tell you about her work. I specificly recomend the videos listed down below, because firstly, I really do believe the scriptures are the first place where one should begin their reaserch! We will never find a better source about our faith, let's not kid ourselfs.
Secondly, as someone who doesn't know even the slightest bit of Hindi, especialy Sanscrit, dictonaries like that are a life saver ! How can we understand Sanatana Dharma, if we don't know at least the basic words that are being used among scriptures, mantras and prayers ? The language is a pillar of culture and faith, and so we need to start incorporating it into our life <3.
A quick note to remember about her order of books though, she doesn't mention Vedas at all. Apparently, she is from South India, and they have a custom where women are not educated about that. Basicly, they go straight to Puranas. It personaly doesn't bother me, I think I'll go along her order, and leave Vedas at the end of the list. If it's a problem for you though, then obviously folloe your heart and read what is right for you <3. If you want to better understand the tradition about Vedas, then watch her dictionary video, she explains it at the begining ;)
If you want to read something more compact in it's form, I'm currently reading "Introducing Hinduism - A graphic guide" by Borin Van Loon and Vinay Lal. It's a really good position when you don't have the energy for intense thinking, or if simply some concept in Sanatana Dharma seems really complicated. In my opinion, the way the author is explaining things is amazing, it helped me a lot in understanding the concept of Omnipresence for example, which I found quite confusing at first after years of living in a christian worldview.
Lastly, if you are interested in Yoga, and want to practice it at home, then you need to check an account on youtube called "Sanskirt Yoga". It's an amazingly cute and wholesome project, of a daughter and mother, who's mission is to decolonise Yoga! It's an authentic, begginer friendly experiance, in which I'm sure you fall in love just as much as I did !
That's all for today! I hope I helped some of you, and that soon enough I'll be able to share even more sources then that! As always, I'm more then eager to engage with you in the comments, so I hope to hear from you soon!
Sending love and blessings <3
For who this is an account for?
As someone who doesn't come from a hindu family, or country, I understand there is a lot of reaserch that I have to go through.
So I basicly treat this blog as my journal, where I can write down and share my knowladge with other people who are starting their journey with Sanatana Dharma like me. Obviously, the best case scenario for being introduced to hinduism, would be attending regulary to the temple, where I could find a guru who would be the most reliable source.
Unfortunatly though, I'm unable to have such an uportunity, since I live in a city where the closest thing to a temple is a buddhist meditation center. That's why I also hope, that if any of my knowladge I gain about hinduism would need correction, that people will come in comments to help me out here.
I hope we'll about to have an amazing journey together
See you in the future posts <3
Did y'all know that there are many many sages that we, as a society consider men, whereas they were women irl because earlier many people had gender-neutral names? Like sage dhruva isn't a rishi but a rishika (that's just one of thousands) ? AND ITS NOT KNOWN TO SO MANY PEOPLE
“women weren’t allowed to study in Vedic times” crowd has never heard of Gargi, Ahalya, Maitreyi, Lopamudra, Ghosha, Swaha, Haimavati, Uma , Gautami, Hemalekha, Sita and it’s a shame
guys idk what you think about hindu culture, but we think healthy fat, rolls, thighs touching and full breasts and thighs as auspicious. not beautiful by the way, auspicious. we think it is godly. we think it is lucky.
please, if any of you are struggling with your weight, looks, height or whatever, always remember that some culture, somewhere out there believes that that is pretty. that you are what is lucky.
Fuck Ai and dare to pick up a damn pencil 🗿
