Shizuo’s Part One is finished!

Thank you for your patience! Please remember to play the normal route first (the link is available on every route page along with the password). I can’t tell you how excited we were to start Shizuo’s route. It made us even happier how he had minimal problems during testing~

Izaya’s Part 3 is finished!

It’s been a long journey, but Izaya’s route is finished. We look forward to your thoughts on the endings and the conclusion to Izaya’s story in Ikebukuro Records. The password, as always, is Baccano.

I'm not going to be on tumblr for a while. I've gotten really anxious and stressed lately. Please spread the word of Ikebukuro Records while I'm gone.

So I've decided that if I'm going to be active at all, it will be on Fridays. Maaayyyybbbeee Saturdays as well. Sundays are even more of a stretch, but those are the most likely if at all. So if you have asks or anything to send, expect a response by then. Holidays will be the exception. As always, please check out Ikebukuro Records or promote it. I might do some art for it on Halloween.

A RETURN TO IKEBUKURO…

It was another day like any other until a young woman learned that her boss had planned a job transfer for her. Her destination? A city in Tokyo, Japan by the name of Ikebukuro.  The city had been blessed with five years of normalcy,  which made more tourists visit.  Her best friend, Arabella Faraldo, was excited to visit such a grand city so she insisted on joining the young journalist on her journey.  Unbeknownst to them, two famous figures known by its occupants through causing destruction have returned to the city.  With a new gang on the rise,  an unhinged informant with a “love” for humanity, supernatural entities and flying vending machines, the young woman’s new job is the least of her worries as a new Ikebukurian!

Our goal is to make this game feel like a season that left almost every question in the series once unanswered now answered and bringing satisfaction to  current or previous viewers/readers of the series. If you like what you see so far after playing the demo, let us know!

DURARARA!! BELONGS TO RYOHGO NARITA, SO PLEASE READ OR WATCH THE SERIES FIRST BEFORE PLAYING THIS GAME!

Here’s a few screenshots of “Ikebukuro Records”, a Durarara!! dating sim fan game. Thank you to my two lovely artists, (digital artist) mr_glassesarts and (sketch artist and co-writer) MockNerd!

This takes place 7 years after the Final Curtain arc, so some characters may look a bit different (Izaya being one of them). 

Now obviously the player can input their name, I just put “Player Name” to let the players decide what MC’s name would be. So they don’t need to worry about a set one. 

The bachelors available in the game are: Shizuo, Masaomi, and Izaya. 

There’s 3 endings in the demo, but there will be 22 endings in the final game. The demo will have days 1-10 (routes start on day 8), while the amount of days for the full game is TBD. As of now, there are 14 characters from the series, though more will be added in the final game. 

So many that I kinda want to pimp slap myself for being such a workaholic. I love programming this game but sometimes I feel like I’m losing my mind.

Some characters from the series will only be seen in certain routes or simply mentioned. 

The demo will be posted on Game Jolt and Itch.io. So far day 2 for Shizuo and Masaomi are finished programming wise, just need the art for ‘em.
