Hey, look, it's baby Papyrus! From Before the Anger!

He's about one year old, and this picture is when he learns the word "hate".

Guys, the echo flower is a reference to the whole flowey thing in UT. Idk if I'm gonna add that plotline in BTA because idk if it'd work in my timeline... But you get a reference instead! Isn't that just as good...?

We have yet to get to the whole baby Papyrus plot in BTA. It's gonna take a while, unfortunately. That's the downside of having the story slowly unfold... Its slow.

Before the Anger- episode 59, "HAPPY EASTER, MOM!!"

Siqua's parenting style is called "child-led", but she tends to lean very permissive. It's not necessarily a bad thing but can be considered a fault. It just depends on your values :)

((“Here, child, you can cut up the carrots!” Toriel offered Chara a knife with a big smile. Chara’s hands felt ice cold; the knife, the sharp edges catching the light; Toriel’s disgusting, monstrous grin; her claws grasping the handle. Chara raised a hand to her mouth to cover her disgust and rushed out of the kitchen without a word. Toriel watched her leave, a confused tilt in her head.))

I love Papyrus and Sans's dynamic. There's a lot of complex psychology in the little details (do you notice a theme in these comics?)

Before the Anger- episode 43, "A Red Pen and a Dumb Book"

((Chara decided to humour Toriel and joined her in the kitchen. She even pretended to smile and said, “Sure, Mother.” and seeing Toriel’s face light up made Chara’s smile genuine. What a stupid woman. Chara stood beside Toriel, looking up into her piercing eyes. Being this close to such a creature made Chara’s hands tremble, so she made a tight fist.))

The color red is very important in this comic. It symbolizes humanity. Gaster's speech bubble...

Before the Anger- episode 38, "That one Crybaby at the Store"

Lots of child psychology in this one! Side note- Sans is afraid of heights. Doesn't add much to the story but if you look at him in some UnderAnger panels, you can tell he is scared lol. He doesn't say anything about it, though. I LOVE PSYCHOLOGY!!!!

This episode was posted on my birthday! Congrats to myself for living this long :)

((One day, Elaine had come back from royal guard training with the question burning in her mind. She mustered her courage and asked, “Papyrus, why did you… quit?” He was sitting on the couch and slowly turned to face her, like he was expecting this. He sighed, “I assume they’ve taught you all about the Goddess?” Elaine raised her eyebrows. This was not the answer she’d expected.))

Actually, this side story has some spoilers for Under Anger: Secret Ending! I haven't got to the whole "Goddess" thing yet over there. This is some exclusive content y'all are getting 😎
