ATSUSHI WITH A MENTALLY ILL S/O

Atsushi always gets concerned about your health and safety he just wants you to be alright and comfortable.

He noticed you bite your nails a lot and he knows it's not good to do that so he always tries to stop you from doing it but you actually never stop.

You hate to make people worry about you so you don't tell him much about how you're doing mentally. That just makes him more worried.

He really just wants you to be alright.. but you don't understand that.

He wants to get you a therapist. Although you may not be comfortable with that so he just doesn't.

He told kunikida about this, and kunikida requested that he would talk to you about it but atsushi just said that he will just find a way to deal with it because atsushi feels that would be a bit weird for you.

Atsushi: Akutagawa! I got you some chocolates! I thought you would like them.

Akutagawa: I don’t want chocolates from you! *throws them in the river*

Atsushi: I could have had them!

Akutagawa: *looking at the chocolates then back at him*

Atsushi: You did want those, didn’t you?

Akutagawa: *nods*

Atsushi: Got any resolutions Akutagawa?

Akutagawa: Yes, two. Finally kill you and get Dazai to notice me.

Atsushi: ….Mine was to be able to pay rent on time and eat more chazuke…

Dazai: Sit on his lap and feel him get hard.

Atsushi: Oh come on! Again?!

Atsushi: Why the hell am I wanted by everyone suddenly!? Where the hell was all this attention at when I was a child in the orphanage!?

Fyodor: You sound like you are going through a lot and are having a mental breakdown. However I do not care about your feelings, get in the bag.

Atsushi: Why did you cut my leg off!?

Akutagawa: Because you made me mad!

Atsushi: All I said was “Do you want ramen tonight?” And then you cut my leg off!

Akutagawa: I don’t want ramen I want pork buns!

Atsushi: Then tell me like a damn human being not some damn rabid animal! This is why you don’t have any friends!

Atsushi: Don’t serial killer go after the whores first?

Chuuya: *Looks at Dazai* Nice knowing you.

Atsushi: Hey Dazai, do you dress up for Halloween?

Dazai: Yep. Going to dress up as the ugliest thing in the world.

Atsushi: A zombie?

Akutagawa: Have you thought about not being such a crybaby, weretiger?

Atsushi: Have you thought about not looking like an E-boy with a subscription to Victorian Hot Topic?

Atsushi Nakajima x Reader (more like unrequited love and ?yearning?)

One's first love will either be painful or beautiful. Walking to work on a sunny day you were feeling quite content as you hummed a tune to a random song. You couldn’t help but let your eyes wander as you passed by that familiar four story building you had spent so much time in.

How long had it been since you worked there? You couldn’t remember anymore, but you did remember all the vivid and fun memories you had there as well as the sad, heart-breaking ones. Those memories all had a special place in your heart, especially the ones with him in it.

Staring into the window you happened to catch a glimpse of him laughing with Ranpo happily. It made you glad but also sad to see him so happy. His purple and yellow eyes shifted towards the window, and they glimmered in the way you loved to see them shine when they landed upon you.

Beaming he quickly opened the window leaning out, shouting a greeting to you, with a smile you shouted a greeting back and paused on the sidewalk to simply stare and smile at him.

With that ridiculous haircut of his and that dopey smile that made your heart flutter and gave you butterflies in your stomach. “Why don’t you come visit sometime soon! We all miss you!” His voice was shouting over the sounds of bustling traffic “maybe!”

Pouting slightly at your answer he was suddenly being pulled at by the back of his shirt by no doubt Kunikida. Quickly waving goodbye he gave you one last smile before he was dragged away.

You couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle continuing your commute, his smile lingering on your mind. You wished you had the courage to tell him how you felt when you had the chance, it would be a regret you would carry with you for the rest of eternity.

Sometimes that’s how it ends because sometimes, cupid runs out of arrows, and shoots one person, not two.

What felt like an entire book was merely a chapter, that was alright though, you enjoyed every second of it.

Atsushi Nakajima didn’t make it to the end of your story, but you’ll always remember what chapter he was, for you’ll reread it for years to come for it was the most beautiful your heart had ever felt.
