Power Outage #96 You Are Very Deer To Me
Her art fight: https://artfight.net/character/2020086.emmy Character belongs to: nordlichtkunst
The last art fight I've done so far :3
It took me a day to finish it, which is the fastest I've ever managed to do a realistic portrait. There are still a lot of things I want to improve, but at least I think it looks good.
I've always wanted to try to make realistic portraits as attacks to practice, but then I'm too lazy to do the rendering ^^" that's why I always do semi-realism XD
The very first Inktober I’m going to participate in. Can’t wait to see what everyone has in store this year (`•ω•´๑) .
Day 22: Little
I wanted to focus on the idea of aging and growth for the two prompts. How did I do? ✨🦌
Day 21: Big
Inspired by deers that have an irregular growth of antlers. What's seen as deformities, I see as something unique ✨🦌
A new viewpoint on antlers reveals the evolutionary history of deer (Cervidae, Mammalia)
fullview recommended!
something i've wanted to do for a while now. i've scoured the internet for something like this and can't find anything that compares all the different types of antlers together. except one recent study on their evolution, which is also very interesting on its own! i simplified it to provide a visual reference, while still trying to be scientifically accurate. some things differ between this and trophy scoring terminology like where the beam is and whatnot, so if something looks weird that's why.
small additional note, this study and others provide a lot of evidence that eld's deer should be in their own genus as it doesn't appear similar enough to barasingha and schomburgk's deer. however this doesn't seem to be adapted anywhere yet, so they're still in Rucervus for this guide.

Ceraf
This is my newest OC, Ceraf, a 17 year old Half-deer.
He lives in the Garisian forest as one of its protectors and he's always trying to look or seem strong to whoever he meets, because he is a bit insecure of his deer features.
He has low-level magic powers, he mostly uses his magic to create energy arrows which he uses with his bow.
He has a mostly serious and not very friendly personality but he is a very kind and loyal friend of some other fae creatures and animals.
I'm thinking of using this OC if I ever do a DnD campaign or maybe if I make a fantasy story someday.
A tattoo design I made for art class
My concept for one of the five creator dragons in World: “One dragon fell into a deep slumber and became the forests”
Crudalis Chakor, the Forest Phoenix
A gentle giant of the woods, Crudalis Chakor is regularly slow, serene, and peaceful. They posses the ability to accelerate plant growth around them, causing a young seed to sprout in mere seconds. This ability can also be used offensively though, as they will defend them selves with large tangles of bramble to ensnare would-be attackers. There is another side to this drake however, you see Crudalis Chakor is omnivorous. In spring and summer, they will graze and eat fruit from the tree tops, but when fall and winter come in their natural phytokinesis seems to dampen. To make up for this, for the season they go on the attack. Like a biological switch, the Crudalis Chakor will now regularly ignite its body to engulf the surrounding forest in fire. They will then pick off the fleeing wildlife easily. While this may seem overly destructive, Crudalis Chakor is actually an integral part of the forest’s ecosystem as the burnt forest leaves room for new life
Watched Hannibal again. Had an idea. It took 22hours.
