No fucking way, I actually made the list let’s fucking go!

I was literally thinking of making a joke post that would go something like “Hey do you guys think my four posts about Lily qualify me for the list?”, I say joke post cause I’m not so self obsessed as to think my posts were enough to put me on Lily or her fans radar. Guess I should’ve had a higher opinion of myself.

Now I can take joy in the fact that my posts have irritated a small group of annoying people, and quite possibly Lily herself assuming she does stalk the tags or has seen the list.

Ok, I have a very earnest question for Lily and her diehard fans.

What part of the Writing Tips thread was a joke?

In the event you respond to this question with a frustrated “Why does no one believe it was a joke??”, allow me to answer that question ahead of time. It’s because all the Tips just so happen to be opinions and beliefs Lily expresses to this day, like enemies to lovers is abusive, heroes should just kill the bad guys, slice of life is better than action, anime bad, Zuko doesn’t have a redemption arc, storyboard artists can’t write ever, and etc etc.

To be fair the thread is funny, just not in any way that’s intentional. The way that most of the Tips are just the most blatant examples of vague posting you’ve ever seen is hilarious, the tips that make Lily look like a hypocrite and are deeply ironic are also pretty funny.

Now if any Lily fans are still reading this I’m gonna give you a little bit of homework, look up the term “Schrodinger’s Douchebag”.

One of the strangest parts in Lily’s video about the allegations is how she ends a screaming rant about how unfair it is no one believes her denials, with an “And that’s why treat my fans like shit when they have the audacity to recommend me things!”.

This post has has the same vibe as that, posting a rant about how your critics definitely dehumanize you the same way you do just with serious accusations instead of being called an It. Then ending that rant with not with the serious stuff, but with the running sock puppets accusations? Odd. Like running sock puppets and being a groomer, are not equally serious accusations.

And Lily knows that, but it still really really bugs the shit out of her anyways. Because it’s true, just like how she does treat her fans like garbage it’s true she uses sock puppets (she uses at least one). but she can’t just deny it outright, she needs to slip in the denial/excuse at the end of the serious stuff/trauma dumping so you dear reader are more willing to buy it. But the problem with this strategy is simple, it’s super jarring cause it doesn’t fit the situation and it ends up having the opposite effect to anyone who isn’t one of her diehards.

P.S. Just so it doesn’t have to go unsaid, Lily would absolutely yelling everyone’s ear off if Ant, Crim, or Sai called her an “It”.
