Dive Deep into Creativity: Your Ultimate Tumblr Experience Awaits
i've never really understood what people meant when they said they find people "hot" or attractive. i've seen people as pretty and nice to look at, certainly, but i've never quite understood the concept of physical attraction. i <3 being in a QPR, though, those are wonderful.
One of my favorite side effects of my Year of Overthinking my Sexuality is what I learned about the differences between aesthetic and romantic attraction.
Did you know you can think someone is pretty, or cute, or handsome, without liking them romantically? Yeah! Maybe that's common knowledge, but I sure didn't know until I went down the rabbit hole of researching asexuality. The result of that extensive research and the discovery of separate terms for separate kinds of attraction is that I now feel much more comfortable finding people attractive.
The curly-haired boy on my cross country team? Cute. The woman with the braid carrying her child? Very pretty. The short kid I keep passing in the halls? Gorgeous. The big lady I ran into at the grocery store? Breathtaking. It's made me realize that the vast majority of people in real life actually look really good. Very few of them perfectly fit what I've been taught to see as conventionally attractive, but so many of them have faces I long to just . . . look at. I swear, ninety percent of the girls I know from church are prettier than any model I've ever seen. Most people, maybe even all people, are attractive in a very genuine, very mundane, and very beautiful way.
I like feeling like I can say someone looks good without implying that I like them. And I like admitting that if I'm honest, everyone looks good.
people who post gifs of din djarin: we all know what we're looking at 👀
me, an aromantic asexual with a din hyperfixation: i have no idea what you're looking at but i'll still watch this gif twenty times
If you have'nt seen my first post here[link] is my first post about this.
This post includes gaybian, gayhet/straightgay and heterogaybian/straightlaurian.
Most of these omni flags[link] were my reference for the different attraction types, however I already posted my omniqueerplatonic version on here and also for the alterous flag I chose a different blue tone.
For all orientations this will be the order of the flags: sexual, romantic, platonic, alterous, sensual, aesthetic and queerplatonic. The last flag is omnioriented[link] which is a label for when all of your attraction types are the same. So for example when someone is pansexual, panromantic, panplatonic, panqueerplatonic, pansensual, etc. they are omnioriented pan.

If you have'nt seen my first post here[link] is my first post about this.
Most of these omni flags[link] were my reference for the different attraction types, however I already posted my omniqueerplatonic version on here and also for the alterous flag I chose a different blue tone. This post includes different lesbian variants.
[Discriptor for all flags: All flags are their usual colors but have in additional stripes on the top and bottom. These are the colors: sexual purple, romantic green, platonic yellow, queerplatonic has four additional stripes where the two outer ones are light pink and the other two are light yellow, alterous light blue, sensual orange, aesthetic pink, omnioriented has also four additional stipes, the outer ones are black and the other are pink.]

I made these flags for the split attraction model. I wanted to have as many different orientations as possible in one conistent way for different attraction types. I did not make all of these flags but most. Some have strong similarities to existing one's but I changed some since I really wanted a consistend way of representing someone's orientation who is using the split attraction model. Most of these omni flags[link] were my reference for the different attraction types, however I already posted my omniqueerplatonic version on here and also for the alterous flag I chose a different blue tone. This will be the first post including bi, pan and poly. More will follow.

A term for when your neurodivergent condition affects your aesthetic orientation/attraction in any way. It can be used as a standalone identity. It is the aesthetic attraction version of neurosexual, neuroramantic, etc. and is based on these flags.
