80,869!!! Considering it took me 5 years (2018-2023) to write 102,332 words, that is a huge jump in productivity. I've been trying to get over my fear of posting, so it looks like I've been making some good progress.

I've been jumping in and out of fandoms this whole year. Some friends got me obsessed with PJO and ROTTMNT, and let me tell you—the brainrot hit me hard.

I've also been writing for some very small manhwa fandoms... It's been real lonely out here. Save me.

Highest kudos + Highest Hit One-Shot:

In the peak of my PJO hyperfixation, I wrote Take Under Tide and its number has jumped past 3k. I love the MC-becomes-immortal trope... and I may also have an obsession with POV Outsider. It's a problem.

New Things I Tried:

...Posting fics in fandoms with nothing in them. It's like I'm stranded on an island.

Fic I Spent The Most Time On:

Definitely Carved From Dust due to the amount of planning I've done (and need to do). I don't have much experience with multi-chapter works, so this fic is very much kicking my ass with the threat of 20+ chapters.

Fic I Spent The Least Time On:

I wrote Palisade of the Dragon during one of my university lectures. Considering I love to not pay attention and that it was a gift to a friend, I was super motivated.

It's one of my shorter works, but I really enjoyed writing Strangers, Not By Souls for the One Piece Fluff Zine.

Favourite Thing(s) I Read:

Take what you Need and Leave the Rest by @acewithapaintbrush. You ruined my life in the best way possible. I love you so much. Reading this was like aligning all the planets in the solar system.

now the darkness comes alive by @goodlucktai. Bro made me watch ROTTMT (which ruined my life) and then wrote this masterpiece (which also ruined my life) and then made me read other ROTTMNT fanfics (which also also ruined my life). Why would you do that to me. You're the best.

stare directly at the sun by @remedyturtles. I know you say you don't, but I know you have a knife and said knife hurted me greatly and permanently. Thank you. This was absolutely amazing. little kid with a big death wish also changed me at a molecular level... I still remember reading this at work and trying not to lose my shit (it was peak fiction).

A Tale of Spirits by @unorthodoxx-page. This fic—like, I just remember reading it and being absolutely blown away by the characterization. Peak. PEAK. The second I caught up, I immediately went back to re-read.

I May Be Invisible, But I Still Look Good by @dandylovesturtles. I don't know the exact number of times I screamed into my pillow while reading this. I just remember that it was a lot. I loved everything about this, and the conclusion was chef's kiss.

Nothing Haunts Us (like the things we don't say) by @mad4turtles. I love you so much, Maddy—but you ruined my life with this /pos /affectionate /forever changed. I lost my mind reading this.

Immortality by @dancinginthesliverglow. This scratched the itch in my brain. I really enjoyed the prose and the characterization of the Gods... and I also like it when my favourite character dies so—

I just realized I really only read ROTTMNT fics this year. I'm undoubtedly missing some of my favourites from this list, and for that, I am ashamed.

Writing Goals for 2025:

In general, to post more and to care less!

To be specific, I really want to post Chapter 3 of Young Like The Sea—possibly Chapter 4 as well (although I don't have much hopes for the latter).

New Works:

I have a few one shots of various fandoms on the back-burner, but I don't "plan" on writing them soon. Hopefully, I can work on the WIPS I already have posted.

- luffy & zoro being childhood friends before the creation of the strawhats family

- zoro being more of a babysitter than an actual bodyguard

- luffy sitting on zoro’s shoulder because he likes being tall

- featuring luffy beating the crap outta other gangs and accidentally gaining territory and followers 

- people always underestimating luffy because hes thin and short until they literally get their asses handed to them

- gangs thinking roronoa “demon hunter” zoro is the leader and not the happy go lucky strawhat-wearing kid beside him 

- luffy accidentally creating a grand network of connections between various gangs, the law enforcement, and even a terrorist group just from being a cool dude 

- zoro usually only fighting with one sword because luffy doesnt want to get off his shoulder (often cause luffys in the middle of eating something). this habit resulted in zoro becoming ambidextrous 

- luffy using brass knuckles 

- luffy & zoro rooftop parkouring (both have fallen into dumpsters multiple times) 

- both didnt know how to do basic first aid before luffy snatched up Chopper—a med student—so they have a bunch of stolen bandaids (luffy likes the ones with sparkles)

I could just imagine how many happy memories they could have made if they were together for those 20 years. Instead, theyre separated, missing their sun, and losing hope. This is horrible - we were stolen from.
