Danny, on a time mission for Clockwork, drags an injured Alfred Pennyworth across the Beach to safety on D-Day. While performing first aid, Danny gets clipped by a bullet, but hopped up on adrenaline, he doesn’t notice and his blood, imbued with ectoplasm, comes into contact with Alfred’s wounds.

80 years later, on the run from the GIW and his parents, Danny runs to Gotham where he meets a surprisingly spry 100 year old man, not looking a day over 60.

I just found your "Whos Old Now" fic and I A) AM IN LOVE and B) CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THE ANGST POTENTIAL 😭😭😭 Im just imagining the justice league + Danny getting into some big boss battle and Billy getting injured but the entire league trying to stop Danny from going in after him because No One Wants To Explain To Captain Marvel Why His Kid Is Hurt™ and Danny having to fight them all off and simultaneously explain that "I'm not his kid, he's mine"

I'm glad you're enjoying it! And yes, there is a lot of angst potential. It's a fine balance between fluff and angst, and I hope I'm getting that right so far. And absolutely nothing would stop Danny from getting to his kid if Billy needed help. Probably wouldn't even explain it to the League, he'd just go. What are they gonna do about his intangibility? Due to this he is immune to all poisons, which is great for Danny, what isn’t great is trying to explain that to some well meaning heroes who witnessed him some highly toxic alien fruit he found. He just wants to enjoy his new snack, the spicy sweet tang is addictive AND HE WISHES THEY’D STOP TAKING IT FROM HIM!
