EXCUSE ME? Are My Eyes Betraying Me? Why Is The Frame Of This Shot Almost Looking Up This Girl's Crotch?

The thing that is truly insulting about them copying this scene is that there is NO WAY it holds the same emotional impact as the original.

Naruto crying out that he didn't need to be be saved, still so unable to Cope with the idea that somebody, let alone someone incredible like Sasuke, valued him enough to protect him, and Sasuke willing to die before yet another precious person was taken away before him, prickly to the very idea of a loudmouth like Naruto, but knowing nonetheless that Naruto is precious to him...

And then there was Haku in the background, one of the most heart-breaking 'villains' who understood what he was seeing, and even complimented Sasuke for his will, chillingly echoing that same behavior to save his own precious person...

It was a beautiful scene, and Boruto is just milking our memories with lukewarm reenactments with none of the heart : /

On Warped Characterizations of Sasuke

Are you reaaaally going to tell me that even though Boruto (a) establishes that time travel exists and (b) has Sasuke go back in time to when he was 13 and Itachi was still alive, Sasuke DOESN’T IMMEDIATELY try and save his brother?!

Sure, I know that there are always consequences to tampering with timelines and they were told not to affect change in the series’ canon, but are you reaaally going to tell me that the chance to SAVE ITACHI isn’t one of the literal only things that would actually be worth that risk to Sasuke?!

Sasuke went against everyone’s warnings against defecting in order to kill Itachi, and then threatened to take down Konoha in order to avenge him, but now that he knows the full and actual truth, he’s gonna, what, roll over and let his precious brother just die because of some nebulous consequences?!
