These two heathens. Litter sisters almost 3 years old now.
Regarding the protests in Michigan and elsewhere, I see a few conservative/right of center talking heads carping about the folks who chose to exercise their rights and carry arms to the protests. The way I understand our country's history, and the men who started it, leads me to one opinion only, and that is this: as I have seen or heard it, if this makes politicians nervous, then they are wishing to pull the kind of crap on us that they cannot while we are armed. Let's keep it that way. As for the rest, Lead, Follow, Or Get The Fuck Out Of The Way. Fence sitters are going to have to choose... 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
New kid at Chateau Loki. A 4 month old rescue boy. Boxer/Pit mix, mild mannered and always wagging. The sisters - our Shepard mix 3 year olds - are not very happy right now. Fen is becoming less reactive to him, but Louie absolutely loses it when she sees him. The transition looks like it's going to take a while...<sigh>
Marked Not Safe From Electromagnetic Energy today
(Mainly that left elbow. There weren't enough holes in the titanium hardware, so they went for surgical steel) The knee is more recent, just an old guy thing...

Yeah, don't ignore these. You can die of dehydration in the winter, too.
Horseshoe Mesa, from Grandview Point. I've backpacked and camped there many times. There is also at least one cave system in the mesa, called Cave of the Domes. A cathedral unlike anything made by humanity...
The man who raised me. 23 years after his passing, 3-21-2000; certain songs remind me sharply of how much I miss his voice and presence...I know in my heart that gentle Warrior flys free, as, from time to time, Red-tailed Hawks pay closer attention to me than should be warranted. On his birthday, 06/17.
One more from Idaho, 2009. Craters of the Moon, with the guilty party(cinder cone) in the background. (Since visiting Kilauea is currently out of the question! Sigh...Love of volcanology...)
