The True Villains

"PLEASE!!.. You say you care for me!! You say you'll give me a happy ending, yet I wait and fight for you and nothing happens! You leave me trapped forced to fight your fights for your own enjoyment! Please," They begged between small sobs "Let me go.."

I can't do that though, that makes for a boring story! The stories people want to read are the stories with angst! Drama! Heartbreak anf pain! Not the ones with a happy ending so soon! We need hurting, we need more.

We'll make them fight the villains, we'll make them choose to save the world or their lover, we'll make them suffer. And in the end, we'll convince them that they're the good guys, convince them it was all destiny, that they aren't puppets in our own plays. Not because they're bad characters or we hate them, quite the opposite! We love making them hurt, because no one realizes we're the true villains in their fairytale.
