I know Adam was shown to be forgetful at times in the show, but there were also times where he was super observant
I am bringing this up ‘cause please just imagine with me, Tasha taking the kids shopping pretty early into their time experiencing the world And at some point, they realize that Adam isn’t with them. So the remaining kids split off to look for him, and Bree finds him, with all the friendliness of a golden retriever, trying to talk to some random guy who looks Very Confused
“Adam, Tasha said we’re not supposed to wander off” “Gimme a minute, I’m trying to figure out where I’ve met this dude” Bree, well aware that they’ve only been going outside for like a month and the only adults they’ve met outside their parents are their teachers, is just like “Quit bugging strangers,” before throwing a quick apology to the guy and dragging Adam back to the others. Adam’s protesting the entire time that “Bree, I’m telling you I’ve seen that guy before”
And Douglas, who’s spent over a decade trying to determine and hunt down where Donald’s been hiding his kids, is just left standing in the bread aisle like
TOMORROW IS HALLOWEEN!!!
Random Trivia about Spirits and Such Consultation Office because i’m insane
- both offices were in buildings on street corners
- in the official references, the handprint painting is seen in both the past and present spirits and such, however in the anime it’s not there in the past (I like to assume Mob made it)
- in the scene where the original spirits and such is burning down, two extra windows are shown that go against the internal references of the building (unless they happen to be in the massage room? However that makes the placement of the only other visible window strange)
- the NEW spirits and such office is approximately 900 meters from salt middle school, making it around a 15-20 minute walk at an average pace
- it can be assumed that the old spirits and such office was closer to both Mob and Reigen’s houses
- in the live action, the massage room has a disco ball
- we never see the interior of the break room apart from in the official references
-the original spirits and such was higher up than the new one
- allegedly, there’s a stove in the office
- both spirits and such signs are visible from the main window behind reigen’s desk, however neither are reachable unless you plan on falling from at least one story (or you’re an esper)
- the printer, handprint painting, corner plant, safe, mobs chair and desk, and reigen’s laptop are salvaged from the fire
ok that’s all I can think of without listing my headcanons, never become obsessed with an office building
here’s some various references
The Guide is quite literally the Wall Of Flesh packed into a human form, and I mean like fucking PACKED into this dense ass human shape. This means that the Guide is probably very tall/noticeably larger than most humans, and uncannily heavy hence being an entire fucking MEATWALL packed into a human shape. His arms are also slightly uneven since he has trouble molding himself into a perfect human shape.
The W.O.F. can shapeshift a bit in not only shape but also outside appearance, which is why the guide looks like a normal human.
Add on, he also respawns after the Wall Of Flesh fight, but pretends to be a different person even if it is blatantly obvious to all of the other NPCs [And possibly the player] that he is the same guide as before.
You are gonna love it
Found an Ao3 fic that has 250+ chapters and is still being updated. I mean, damn. It started in 2017 and recently updated 2 days ago. I will try to finish it both because I like what it's about and it would also feel like an insult if I didn't.
I'm a bit late to the WAD anniversary
So there has been a bit of “what if humans were the weird ones?” going around tumblr at the moment and Earth Day got me thinking. Earth is a wonky place, the axis tilts, the orbit wobbles, and the ground spews molten rock for goodness sakes. What if what makes humans weird is just our capacity to survive? What if all the other life bearing planets are these mild, Mediterranean climates with no seasons, no tectonic plates, and no intense weather?
What if several species (including humans) land on a world and the humans are all “SCORE! Earth like world! Let’s get exploring before we get out competed!” And the planet starts offing the other aliens right and left, electric storms, hypothermia, tornadoes and the humans are just … there… counting seconds between flashes, having snowball fights, and just surviving.
Been thinking of this post like all day. Got home and drew my thoughts immediately.
(Ik reigen can actually see what's going on in this fight, but I wanted to draw mob and serizawa)
