This Is Wild. I Love It

Sooo, Bridgerton just came out (quite literally, with two Canon queer chatacters) and people are mad about it?? Like wtf??? Is 2024, get over it???

And they are saying they love the books so they dont want the storylines and shit changed. Mind you, the show has been changing the original storylines all the time, is an adaptation. Pretty sure the ones claiming to love the books have not even read them, but that is not relevant to the point I am trying to make.

What I am saying is that if you do not care about the series changing the history lines all the time, like they have been doing ALL OF THE SEASONS, ALL OF THE TIME, but you suddenly start to care -or hate- when a new history line (or a change of the story, like the Michael-Michaela one) only if it involves queer people, that is homophobic.

You only care when queer people are added. You only say its bad when queer people are represented. You only hate changes when queerness is involved.

THATS HOMOPHOBIA. Argue with the wall.

Seeing that I thought, isnt midnights an experimental album that has songs written all throught Taylor life?? The ones that she is confessing all her truth (or the one she wants to share)?? If that is correct, then what she is impliying is that all her music, more specifically, the vault tracks, are her real thruth. To me, it just feels like a call for us to listen to her music and what she writes about (she is first and foremost a storyteller) more than about the narrative that she so loudly sells to the world.

Also, being a little bit more delusional, I think at the end of it, we will get out of the night and step into the daylight, whatever that means. For my personal bias, I think is a coming out of some short or something like that, but I think she is going to reveal some kind of groundbraking truth when this era is over.

What’s really shitty about this new article is that anyone remotely connected to Taylor can claim they’re her associate. Travis and his team can be the source for the article, and they know that the general public will take it as the gospel truth and assume an associate means Taylor’s team itself. But it doesn’t.

The problem is that if anyone can be an associate, it’s not technically a lie.

One of Taylor’s associates has a problem with the article, and that can’t be disproven. And that associate likely wants to make it look like Taylor is the one with the problem—to keep her looking straight. For their own agenda.

I can think of a couple parties that could be responsible, but my eye is mainly on Travis.
