I am glad that this is how I am ending the year. I have tried fish (in non-fish-stick form) and a shrimp this year. What a wild adventure. Life’s crazy y’all! Happy 2025
just ate a shrimp for the first time, didn’t die, but also unsure of all the hype around them
Why choose between Star Trek and Star Wars when I can have both? And also Stargate, Farscape and Galaxy Quest?
No.
They're all mine. I will defend them all to the death. 'Real sci-fi fans know the only good quality science fiction world is-' NO. I will have the commentary of a utopian/semi-utopian/post-utopian society dealing with current world problems through the science fiction lense by going where no one has ever gone before AND the galactic space opera with space wizards fighting space imperialism AND the show with a team of people fighting against body snatching space snakes/life force sucking space bugs AND the ragtag group of alien criminals, puppets and an astronaut cruising through space inside a sentient ship AND the love letter to the fans of the first mentioned series.
And you can't stop me.
you just don't get shit like this with 8-episode streaming seasons
I now have, to the best of my knowledge, at least 7 first aid kits. Will this number of first aid kits contain the downfall of the chaotic energy exuded as I live life so precipitously? Eh, prolly not. But I have space bandaids now!
reposting a favorite reddit moment of mine since god knows if ill ever see it again
I somehow say the word egg so wrong that every time I do conversation must fully stop in order to discuss it. But like, there can’t be more than 2, maybe 3, ways to pronounce egg right? What exactly am I doing to cause such offense?
my last polaroid of 2020
currently maybe possibly single-handedly crashing whatever servers eton hosts its archived student newspapers on because me and a friend are getting obsessed with a single outspoken prefect from 1883
The 18th (?!?!?) annual Project for Awesome starts today at noon eastern time, but we've already raised over $500,000 for charities like Save the Children and Partners in Health.
You can get some amazing perks this year, including the first few chapters of my next book, the annual podcast I make with Sarah where we read emails we wrote each other before we started dating, and lots more. Check it all out at http://projectforawesome.com/donate.
