I saw one similar to this but it got me curious so im doing the same thing but slightly shifted:

I don’t think season 2 Joel is a god but I do think the headcannon I’ve seen of Joel from season 1 and season 2 being the same person is true 

I believe what happened was that after his palace was destroyed and his loved ones went missing joel searched for a purpose to distract himself from the grief 

He still wanted to leave behind a legacy so he became obsessed with building his magnum opus a statue just like his citizens but so much more he would get giant muscles and be very tall and have the power of a god

he based the design off of myths like Zeus because he was inspired by his wife who was debatably a goddess also he used famous Greek sculptures as references 

While He is the same Joel from season 1 he is not an immortal god like he claims he is It would be ironic because it would make him making fun of Jimmy for being a toy hypocritical 

I also think the reason Joel targets Jimmy so much is because they used to be brothers in laws and he used to think Jimmy was a great ally and friend so seeing someone with the same face and even some similarities in personality being a corrupt sheriff well it infuriates him to no end

Martyns deal is that he’s a listener so it’s tempting to give him super hearing but in this au the listening aspect of his power are not him listening but instead others listening

he can enhance sounds that are not his own

so clapping or shouting won’t work he needs an object to make the sound for him and he has to be touching it

his power is that he can control the loudness of the sound that results from him taking an object and hitting it against another object

he has an ability that is useful but not in combat

Grians birth name is sun crisp apple(it’s real) but he ran away and joined a cult were he was required to give up his name and choose a new one 

So Grian currently goes by blister dawn the reason he ran away  was because he was treated like an outsider do to him not being an earth pony

Does anyone else notice how in empires Jimmy always gets really attached to objects like every one has an animal or thing they would start and escalate conflicts for but jimmy’s attachment to his things is on a way higher level than the rest

maybe the reason he’s so much more willing to do all that is because his objects are taken and made fun of more than anyone else’s so he gets really defensive and he has a habit of putting all his power and identity into one or two items usually one being a hat which makes people want to steal it even more

so Jimmy never truly cracks but it’s always the cat that makes him lose his mind so my prediction is that Jimmy loses the sheriff hat he will end the world again and then season two will start

Before there was anything there was nothing but silence the only word that could possibly describe what it was like 

It was silent for a long time until suddenly there was a big bang it was the loudest sound that would ever be and the first in existence

chaos and inanity and sound sprang forth

And That is when The first god was born 

He was rocketed too the furthest edge of the universe and it took him millions of years to reach earth and meet other gods 

He is the voice at the back of your mind the unavoidable intrusive thoughts and the reason the quiet is so uncomfortable the reason we feel unsettled by the silence 

Off course there is a thing called comfortable silence and the reason for it’s existence is that oli made it as a thank you gift for sausage who was the first god other than himself he met and the first to offer him a welcome upon his arrival 

he made the comfortable silence that only happens when doing something you love or are in the presence of someone you love 

He gave sausages domain the ability to shine through his in limited amounts 

oli appears dressed as a medieval bard that has crazy neon colors the bards of the past didn’t have access to in there time
